Interactive Listening iBook is now available on Mac laptops and desktopsiBook comes to Mac laptops and desktops

The moment we were all waiting for is here.  Apple has released its new OS X Mavericks which makes our fully interactive  iBook accessible to your Mac laptop or desktop.  Even better yet, the Mavericks update is free (follow this link to go to the Apple OS X Mavericks page). After you install Mavericks, the new iBook App allows you to use our iBook on your desktop. If you have already purchased our iBook for the iPad, then it also works on your desktop/laptop. Any notes you take in the iBook will sync between your Mac devices.

With a VGA or HDMI cable you can present iBooks in class when you plug your device (iPad, laptop, desktop) into a projector. Check out our “Best iPad accessories for teachers in the classroom” video for help with cables. If you still have questions get in touch.

The iBook also has a new chapter on wind ensemble, an interactive section on Native American music, and new pages on Indian music that are part of a recent update in September 2013.  The 360 panoramas, video, audio, and interactive images are all working great on the desktop.

If you’ve already downloaded our iBook, you can update your book for free with the new material, just like an App.
